Aireon terms of service
Effective: October 18, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Aireon hub (hub.aireon.ch), the Aireon applications on *.aireon.ch, the RES API and the aireon-mcp connector, including the Aireon app for ChatGPT and other AI assistants (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you accept these terms.
Operator
The Services are operated by Aireon, Switzerland ("Aireon", "we"). Contact: contact@aireon.ch.
Accounts and tokens
Most of the Services can be used without an account. Signing in creates an Aireon account through our identity provider. You must give accurate information, keep your credentials confidential and use one account per person.
Connecting an AI assistant issues a personal connector token. The token is confidential. You are responsible for every call made with it until you rotate or revoke it on the hub, which you can do at any time.
Plans, quotas and credits
Every account has a plan tier. Each tier carries a daily and a monthly limit on tool calls through the connector, and some features consume credits from your balance. Limits and balances are shown on the hub. When a limit is reached, the Services answer with an error until the quota resets.
The Services are currently offered without charge. Should we introduce paid plans, their prices and payment terms will be shown before you buy anything, and these terms will be updated. We may change quotas and tiers to keep the Services available to everyone.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share your account or your connector token with others, or use another person’s;
- circumvent quotas, rate limits, access controls or bot protection;
- extract data in bulk beyond what your plan and the normal use of the Services allow, or use the Services to build a competing data set;
- resell or redistribute the data without our written consent;
- use the Services to identify, profile or contact property owners or residents in breach of data-protection law;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Services, or attempt to access data that is not yours;
- use the Services for anything unlawful.
Data from public sources remains subject to the terms of the source, in particular those of swisstopo, the cantons and the Federal Statistical Office. Where a source requires attribution, keep it.
Data, estimates and AI output
The property information in the Services is compiled from public registers, statistical sources and our own models. It is provided for information. Valuations, rents, building volumes, scores, buildable-space estimates and similar figures are model estimates, not appraisals, surveys, legal opinions or building permits. Official registers and qualified professionals remain the authority for any decision with legal or financial consequences.
Answers produced by AI assistants, whether built into the Services or connected through the aireon-mcp connector, can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for checking them before you rely on them. When you use Aireon through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another assistant, that assistant’s terms apply in addition to these.
We do not guarantee that the data is accurate, complete or current. Data vintages are shown in each application’s About dialog.
Your content
You keep all rights to what you store in the Services: saved parcels, notes, tags, searches, conversations and reports. You grant us the licence needed to store and display it to you and to operate the Services. Do not store content you have no right to store.
Intellectual property
The software, design, compilations, documentation and brands of the Services belong to Aireon or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services in line with these terms. Nothing here transfers any intellectual property to you.
Availability and changes
The Services are under active development and are provided as they are. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, applications or the connector at any time, and we announce notable changes on the hub. We do not promise uninterrupted availability; the status page shows the current state of the suite.
Termination
You can stop using the Services at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, endangers the Services or other users, or has been inactive for a long period, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided without warranty of any kind, and Aireon is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data or decisions taken on the basis of the data or the AI output. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Swiss law.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top identifies the version in force. Material changes are announced on the hub before they take effect; continued use after that date means you accept the new version.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The courts at the seat of Aireon in Switzerland have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory forum available to consumers.
